“La Canción” was created for the Downtown Hobbs Music & Arts Festival, this mural is a celebration of Mexican heritage, music, and the traditions that connect us across generations. Mariachi carries stories through melody, stories of love, family, identity, celebration, and resilience. Through this work, I wanted to honor the passion and artistry at the heart of mariachi culture while inviting viewers to reflect on the traditions and cultural expressions that have shaped their own identities.
